Pair Angel Sculptures
This pair of Italian circa 1780, right and left oriented walnut sculptures of angels are finely carved with detailed treatment of the hands and beautiful faces. The angels stand on clouds, each is dressed uniquely and have individual gestures. Each has a missing arm, wings,one misses 2 fingers, one part of the head and they have a shrinkage split and some worming.
