Trompe L Oeil
This early 20th century continental oil on canvas is a trompe l’oeil of a grisaille nude on a piece of paper that is pinned to a wooden panel, the edges of the paper torn, curled up, crumpled. It is in a later frame which in keeping with the feel of the art work, is scuffed, a bit delaminated and worn. The frame size is 17.5 x 21.5. It is in good condition with three small re-touches.
